Loved this story. It had just the right balance of sweet, small-town vibe and believable conflict, and the writing was beautifully natural. I really enjoyed the cast of characters and how close-knit they were. Looking forward to reading more from this author,

A beautiful story of friendship, community and following your heart even when you are unsure where it will take you. Phoebe is focussed on the difficult job she has a job to do while at the same time struggling not only with her memories of the past but what the future may hold. We Used To Climb Trees gives the reader a close insight into living in a tight-knit community and the emotions which come when returning after some time away. As a reader you become immersed in the township and lives of the people of Swan Falls while at the same time relating to what it is like for an outsider looking in.

tight-knit community and the connections and emotions as a returnee finds her place in it again.

This book creeps up on you and steals your heart. What a great story. With a wonderful cast of supporting characters, this story took a few surprise turns I was not expecting. Makes you want to move to the country! Phoebe and Adam’s story is at turns anxious, heartbreaking and joyful and I enjoyed every second. I am not always a bit fan of romance books as I find they can be a bit unrealistic and melodramatic but not this one, it doesn’t have to invent drama but has a slow burn build up that feels real. Can’t wait for more!
