Heidi’s the only child of wealthy, successful, standoffish parents. They truly love her, just absently. As you can imagine, this makes her crave connection and a close, loving family of her own.

Then she meets Ayden, her scent matched Alpha. Things don’t go as they should. The Board of Directors of Heidi’s parents’ company have entirely too much control over her life and legacy. She gets attacked by an Alpha whose motives and connections are unclear. She discovers Ayden’s truth- it’s a horrible betrayal and she can’t forgive him.

Fast forward 6 years. Heidi meets an Alpha, Kairo. He’s another scent match. After Ayden, the thing Heidi needs most is honesty. But Kai has secrets. And makes mistakes. HUGE mistakes.

Can Heidi ever forgive Kai (and the others involved in his mistakes)? Can she navigate the political backstabbing and corruption standing between her and taking over her family company? How does Ayden fit into the larger picture?

Good thing Heidi has her 3 besties to ground her through all this upheaval. Raney, Tris, & Sim all have their own standalones in this series of related novels.

Includes: rh with 3 MMCs; a violent semi on-page attack on Heidi; drugging Heidi w/o her consent; manipulation & gaslighting aimed towards Heidi; a strong, intelligent, and capable FMC who rises above how others try to hold her down; a potential MMC who gets cut off due to lack of accountability & remorse; 3 MMCs who mess up monumentally but are truly remorseful- she doesn’t cave right away, either. They have to grovel and re-earn her trust.

Highly recommended.

Knot Again follows Heidi as she is forced to find a pack to settle down with so that she can take over her parent’s company. As with the first book this book is based around a woman who had been burned before by the man/men in her life. I really enjoyed this book, reading about Heidi overcoming her doubts and finding the strength she needed to carry on was inspiring. As with the previous book I loved the interactions between Heidi and the rest of her girl friends and I love the support they give each other. Overall, this is a great instalment in the series and I really enjoyed reading it, I would recommend giving it a read.

So, the storyline I loved. While reading the book, I did think there were too many spicy scenes, but that was because I wanted to get back to the main storyline. Some parts I do wish were explained more thoroughly, but I did enjoy this book

For some reason I struggled with this book- it felt all over the place and there were a couple of times I was literally at a loss as to what on earth was going on. It felt like the author had lots of ideas couldn't decide which to use so there then altogether & the reader is left sorting out Who is who & what is what. I have to be honest 3 stars is generous & I don't believe I'll bother even looking at Book 3.
