A this second chance romance is a good read. Sera and Jack were in love but he went to the US to pursue is Hollywood dreams. Now after having an anxiety attack on set, he is back in Melbourne for his brother’s wedding. This story delves into deep rotted anxiety and guilt, as both characters go through a journey to their HEA.

First time reading this author. Not a bad book, but not one that I liked (4) or loved (5) or disliked/hated (2/1). Hence the 3 star rating.

This story is about Sera, a teacher who’s got a big heart for the underprivileged. And Jack, the guy she loved one summer at 18 before he became a famous actor. Jack’s brother is marrying Sera’s best friend/co-worked, so a mental break down with an upcoming g wedding brought their worlds colliding again.

This book does touch a lot on mental health, which is great. But sometimes there were just too many things going on at one time.
