We report that a spectrum of PSN J20435357+1230517 was obtained with
FLOYDS (range 320-1000nm) on Faulkes Telescope South on UT Aug. 26.60
2013. The spectrum reveals it to be a Type Ia supernova at
approximately maximum light, although templates up to a week prior to
maximum are also consistent with the spectrum. The redshift of the
supernova is consistent with that of the host galaxy, NGC 6956
(z=0.0155). Classification was performed via supernova spectrum cross
correlation using SNID (Blondin & Tonry, 2007, ApJ, 666, 1024).
