Full of light, playful, young feeling banter. This story feels like it would read well for a early 20s new to romance/fantasy. A more seasoned reader might find the story is ok but not engaging. The characters are nice, ya nice. The spice is at a warm glow level. I was bored half way in. Just kinda never got interested in what was going on. Potential but falls flat. Too bad.

The end...REALLY? Not cool. This book is actually great. Really nice story and characters up to the end. The end is such a let down if you would prefer your romance story to stay away from really disappointing characters. I can't even get excited to buy the second book because it is just so predictable how this story is gonna go and who is gonna get hurt. I should have expected this with how the story starts out but it just leaves a sour taste behind and the question of WHY?!? Maybe I'll finish the series but it just didn't have to be this way. I'm annoyed.

The dangerous myth to explore.

An interesting exploration of the emotions and dynamics after marriage. My only issues is that finding a David is a dangerous myth. Liv has some pretty realistic concerns in the first book. I don't condone adultery but this book is a good place to explore some concepts and consequences.

Let me start by saying that this is a good book. The world is interesting as are the characters. However, I was so so so disappointed in darkling. He was the most interesting character and then he got boring and predictable. I coud just cry at the waste.

This book easily kept my attention from beginning to end. Adventure was good, characters were good, plot was good, romance was good, spice was a little more minimal but there was a love scene. Will be getting the rest of this series. Not a waste of time. Enjoy

So this story is solid. Leans towards a college level crowd of characters with most of the stereotypical drama to be found in such settings. You may roll your eyes at times but it’s not too painful. Characters are interesting. SMUT is at a reasonably tasteful level. You won’t regret spending the credit but you may or may not continue this series depending on your age and enjoyment of the college crowd.

This book has some good writing but really feels like something a 20ish person would appreciate. It lacks a more mature story plot. Still a decent series. The first book was clean. This one has a few f bombs and a sex scene but still pretty clean for more experienced readers.
