Story
In this brilliant book, Isabel Wilkerson gives us a masterful portrait of an unseen phenomenon in America as she explores, through an immersive, deeply researched narrative and stories about real people, how America today and throughout its history has been shaped by a hidden caste system, a rigid hierarchy of human rankings. Beautifully written, original, and revealing, Caste: The Origins of Our Discontents is an eye-opening story of people and history, and a reexamination of what lies under the surface of ordinary lives and of American life today.

This a great help to understanding what is presently going on in the US today. There is however a great inevitability to the data that indicates a dismal future for the peoples of the country. I fear that there will be a clash of cultures that will be devastating

Lacks fortitude

Presents a great deal of info which should lead anyone with morals to do everything possible to remove this person from office as soon as possible. However, the author tries to minimize these and allows for the president to remain in office until 2020 election. There is no telling what this president could do from now to them.
