I loved the story, the twists and turns, and the introduction of new creatures.
Travis Gilbert was as usual a brilliant narrator.
Dont want to include spoilers so I'll just say how great this book was, the only downside was it ended, and I wanted more!
Hopefully there will be more books in the Night Rebel series.

Loved this book, just cant get enough of Jeaniene Frosts Nighthuntress world books.
Having Tavia Gilbert narrating is the cherry on the top.
Jeaniene Frost knows exactly how to keep the pace of the story, build up the sexual tension between the main characters and write a seriously sensual sex scene without being gratuitously over lewd.
I've read every book in the nighthuntress series and spin offs multiple times, and cant wait for the next Night Rebel book which comes out in a few months.
Tavia Gilbert is absolute genius when it comes down to all the different voices she can generate. I'm never confused as to who is talking with her narrating.
Brilliant book, I just hope Jeaniene Frost never gets tired of writing books in this universe, and Tavia Gilbert is always the narrator!

Loved how the 2 main characters became solid and fleshed out during the first few chapters.
I was surprised how I started to care about them very early in the story.
love how the author made Bones so very sexy without losing the hard edge he had at the start.
loved Kats turmoil and her sarcastic wit.
basically just loved the whole book!
Absolutely loved the Tavia Gilbert as narrator, how she managed to make every character so different so there was never any doubt as to who was speaking. Especially thought she was amazing at the male voices, that I forgot it was a woman narrating those voices.
Quite often narrators just drop thier voices and do a monotone voice for a male character, but not Tavia Gilbert! she kept all of the emotion in every voice she did.
Brilliant book
Brilliant narrator

Loved this book, and I had put off buying it as I thought it would be substandard stuff that didnt make it into the published books.
How wrong I was!
There is some total gems in this book, that I'm sad didnt make it into the finished books.
More love scenes between Kat and Bones, and practically a whole novella that was an alternate plot to the one where Bones smashes the Piano and walks out to go to New Orleans.
Anyone who loves the night huntress series will love all the extra scenes and alternate plots in this compilation.
I highly recommend it, and loved every minute!
(recommend reading or listening to the first 4 books at least before reading or listening to this one)

I think this is more of a teen vamp book, than a book aimed at an adult audience
most of the story was taken up with Buffy the Vampire Slayer story line.
jealous ex friends, frat parties, friends go and stay in a remote cabin during a snow storm
Bit too infantile for me.
the obligatory sex scenes very 16 year old in nature, wouldnt even qualify as vanilla tbh.
I'm going to try returning this book, I actually fell asleep to it.

I didnt enjoy this book as much as the last one in this series.
I think Leila was just a tool to use for a few too many "how much pain can we make her endure" scenes.
The story was a little repetitive.
Leila gets hurt, Vlad gets mad, it just seemed bland.
There was a few good chapters, but they all seemed to contain Ian as the driving force for my enjoyment.
I think I'm just tired of Liela put through the worst pain possible, for Vlad to get his rage on.
I didnt hate this book, but I think im just tired of the dynamics between Liela and Vlad.
on a side note, for a 500yr+ Vampire he needs some new tricks in the bedroom..

After listening to the last book in this series, I was worried about purchasing this book, the next installment of the Night Prince story.
I'm very happy to say I had nothing to worry about.
In hindsight, I think at least some of the disappointment was the very poor recording of Book 2.
Each chapter either finished a split second before "Chapter #" was spoken, or The "Chapter #" was actually spoken cutting off a word or 2 from the end of the previous chapter.
This book however was very enjoyable, much better story pacing, I started to like Leilas character alot more, and the complexity of Vlad was further enhanced.
I love the way Leilas sister was so well portrayed by the Auther and Tavia Gilbert deserves an award for her ability to change her voice to make the listener forget that its just one narrator reading this series!
I felt all the characters were much better fleshed out in this book, and the rollercoaster of emotion wasnt overdone, or forced.
All in all this is a very enjoyable listen, totally back to form from Jeaniene Frost.

Good story, but not as good as her other books

I've loved Jeaniene Frosts books, but this one felt a little frustrating as far as the lead female is concerned.
Vlad is written well, as a very complex and scarred Vampire, but the way Leila is written just comes across as very shallow, and willing to chuck away all her principles for some bedroom antics.
I found her acting for the most part as a sulky stroppy teenager, and then in the next breath almost superhuman in her ability to seem to ignore any injuries to be a sub par hero.
Far from the strong character Kat is in her Night Huntress series.
I'm hoping that this is just a blip, as I already said, I love Jeaniene Frosts other books.
I will say I dont really like this "Eastenders style" ending to her books, as this one felt like half a story, just stretched out with boring filler, ending it with a "Tune into tomorrow, same Bat-time, same Bat-Channel" (showing my age with that one)
Hopefully the next "episode" of this story will be better.

This is not my typical listening matter, but I thought I'd try it based on recommendations.
I was hooked within 10 minutes of listening to the first of this trilogy.
I have listened to one after the other, and am genuinely sad I've come to the end.
It's such a rich story, totally compelling, and will be looking for more listens from this Author.
I highly recommend this trilogy.

I've loved every book in the hollows series, and absolutely loved Marguerite Gavin as the narrator
All the voices she does, make me totally forget that it's one person reading.
She does a brilliant job with the male voices, and carries it through every book.
This book sadly is the last of a phenomenal series, and although I'm very sad to come to the end, Kim Harrison brings the whole series to a complete and beautiful end.
The Witch With No Name is a fast paced, fantastical, rollercoaster of a listen.
So much happens, and so much is resolved.
Its brought me to tears, and had me laughing too.
I cant recommend this book enough, in fact the whole series is a complete and fantastic ride, and I will certainly be listening to it again!
