Emotional, and complicated story - a couple of stubborn characters. Eryn Lockwood is part of an all-female research team ooking for a new world for her people to call home. They are exploring an uninhabited planet when they are captured by warriors from Pimaria who use the planet for hunting. A disaster on Primaria has rendered most of the women infertile and science has determined that the Earth females and the Primarian males are compatible. Eryn, determined to help her people, returns to earth. But the passion between Eryn and Master Warrior Ramikin remains. Eventually, they meet again - sparks fly. Can they be reunited?

Well written story, beautifully narrated.

Samara and her friend Yelena run away after Samara is told by Gregor that they would be married in two weeks. It's the start of a three year chase in which Gregor becomes more enamored of Samara by the tidbits of her life that he discovers along the way. The story get really interesting once she is caught - lots of action, intrigue, a tad savage when emotions run high. Enjoyed the story immensely. I am looking forward to the next in the series.

The narration by Hollie Jackson and Tho Thom was excellent, I found the male narrator to be a bit better than the female. I really loves the deep bass voice use for Gregor.

Henry Jackson and his wife Leticia (Lettie) move west with their boys, to the western territories. It's a wonderfully creative story of the westward trip and the struggle to start a successful ranch. Lettie keeps getting into one situation or another requiring rescue. Great narration, great story.

I love this series. It was a bit of a difficult read as a book, but an easier to listen to since the narrator does a great job. It's heartbreaking at the start, but after lots of regrets, a new start, and after some work - there is a HEA. Well done, Good listening.

Mina and Wes hot, historical romance

The Trail Master's Bride is a well-written, historically accurate story of a young bride, Mina, her ill-matched husband, and their trek across the country as part of a wagon train. Fortunately for Mina, her husband succumbs to illness on the trip and she's free. Then she ends up married to the Trail Master, Weston. They'd been dancing around each other, for a while, sparks flying. Mina and Wes are well-matched. A delightful book. The narration is well done, I was a little taken aback at the beginning by the pronunciation of some words; I never did determine if the narrator was mimicking an accent or that is just her diction. In the end, it didn't matter - it was a well-done narration that I thoroughly enjoyed.

I received a free review copy and this is my honest review.
