The characters in this procedural are not likeable—unlike the author's fantastic Cormic Reiley series—so the listener has to spend 3/4 of the book putting up with these people we don't care about before the twists and revelations liven things up. The sappy YA diary entries almost caused me to abandon. There is a nice payoff in the end but I still begrudge my time lost while things unfold.

Profound Insight Into the Liberal Mind

Bork documents the left's only true political alignment: They are fleeing the culture that made this country a place worth living. They have no objective of their own. Their's is to tear down and destroy.

When I read the graphic novel I was expecting great things because of the critical praise it had garnered. I was disappointed to find a tired and worn Man in the High Castle WWII alternate worlds type story. When I listened to the audiobook I figured it out. The book received high praise because it portrays Donald Trump as a dictatorial President for life. Political fear-mongering may pass for great story telling in some circles, but I expected more from Gibson.

The audio production is really quite good with great character voices and sound effects.

Basic Brief Defense of Young Earth Creation

Presents the mainline opinion of the Creation Movement.

Its critique of the Intelligent Design Movement (IDM) is valid. IDM does not deal with Noah's flood, and does not engage in age of the earth evidences. But it discounts any possible contribution IDM may have to make to supporters of Scientific Creationism. Some of the best refutation of evolutionary science is being done by such men as Dr. Stephen C. Meyer. His book Signature in the Cell has caused waves within the Evolution institutions. They no longer think DNA is a strong point of their evolutionary position. Yet this book is not listed in the recommended reading section.

It also is disappointing to report that Dr. Walt Brown's book In the Beginning is not listed in the further reading section. Brown does not support the notion of "Rapid Plate Tectonics," favoring instead the much more solid "Hydroplate Theory." His book also presents a strong explanation for accelerated radioactive decay at the time of the flood. See his chapter "The Origin of the Earth's Radioactiviry." And his explanation does not resort to Deus ex machina intervention to accomplish. Walt Brown is a strong proponent of Noah's flood and because of small disputes with the mainstream of the Creation Movement his work is under publicised by those in the mainstream and is in effect censured.

Read Stephen Meyer and read Walt Brown if you desire a well-rounded knowledge of the state of the art in the Creation Movement.

Good Introduction to Textual Criticism

This will expose the listener to the core concepts of the debate. It may set the student on a lifelong quest to come to grips with the historical realities of how the New Testament was transmitted down through the centuries.

Clarion Call for Honesty

Owens has written a concise argument for intellectual honesty. And it is a one-stop shop for statistics that are in opposition to the popular narrative fomented in the liberal-biased media. For me she is preaching to the choir. For those who have not heard this message of truth it will be nothing short of hell-fire and damnation.

Candice Owens narrates her own book, and I'm glad she did. Her voicings are so distinctive that they would have less impact from another.

Bond Origins Story

James is a refreshingly human character here in this origins story of the, now iconic, James Bond. You will learn how to make the perfect Vespa martini, and how to play Baccarat for the highest possible stakes: national security. Bond has a license to kill and to tidy up affairs of state and is also quite adept at affairs of the heart; both are nearly his demise. The narration by Dan Stevens is spot on; shifting seamlessly between male or female, British or French with equal aplomb. Example: When one of the characters shows of his knowledge of French by writing a lengthy note, Stevens rolls it off his tongue fluently. If I could remember my high school French I might even be able to tell you if he got it right. All I care is that is sounded authentic to me.

Gratuitous Encounters No Hope Offered

A story to send the listener into to downward spiral to depression. Few redeeming qualities other than 90% great audio quality (some voices clearly done on poor equipment while others in the same conversation were crystal clear). Oh yeah; the performances were great. Too bad the message could not be more hopeful. The same sex encounter was an unnecessary element that did not fit with the justice crusader wanna-be plot. Slater's character needed his own novel to explore his sex-driven anger issues, but all he got was a dead-end aide plot. I won't lie. It clearly had an emotional impact on me. So perhaps it can be called a success, if instilling a sense of hopelessness in mind of the listener was the goal. It should bear the label: Warning do not attempt if you want to feel good today!

Made Me Anxious

As the story unfolded I became quite anxious knowing that Nieve was innocent and that things looked to be turning against her. Great voice acting by Aoife McMahon. It was interesting to hear so many distinct Irish voices performed by one person. Really great!
