Historia
Goal: Find a boyfriend, get married, buy a house in the suburbs with a white picket fence, and pop out 2.5 kids. Deadline: Sixty days. That's possible, right? There is no doubt that, this year, home for the holidays takes on a whole new, terrifying meaning. I have to travel from New York City - my home and safe haven for the last 15 years - to my tiny hometown in Vermont for Christmas, my baby sister's wedding, and my high school reunion.

Feminist soapbox, but still wants a masculine man
Revisado: 02-02-24
I was really looking forward to this book after the first one but wow, I was disappointed. The feminist droll went on way more than the story needed. I literally couldn’t finish this book, I was so over the emotional damage monologue.

Sweet, therapeutic, and excellent narration
Revisado: 01-23-24
Oh my gosh this book was SWEET. I feel like I had a real therapy session while reading this. I loved how there wasn’t any unnecessary angst and cattiness. They really worked through their emotional baggage and messes. Just loved it. Not a lot of spice, but that was fine with how sweet and good the story was. Very well written. Totally recommend.

Historia
Maddie Goldbloom stitched up a plan to ensure everything in her life was perfect - from a career in fashion to a chic NYC apartment to a pediatrician boyfriend. When her ex, Chase Black, storms back into her life with an outrageous request, her immediate reaction is to refuse him. But he only wants to fulfill his father’s last wish. So even though he’s the man who broke her heart, playing his fiancée shouldn’t be hard, especially if it means she gets to watch the arrogant devil squirm a bit.

Amazingly perfect
Revisado: 10-04-23
I love this book. Loved it. I loved the I credible character development, the enrichment or the storyline and the heart it packed.
You really freaking dislike Chase in the beginning, or at least I did, but man, by the end I loved the guy. I loved Madison’s growth and also her integrity of her character, while still growing as a person. I loved the humor and banter and the fact that you felt ato strongly about these characters that you wanted to *also* punch some of them in the face. I loved how everything tied together in the end.
The narration was amazing, I love both Sebastian York and Ava Erickson and enjoy it when they narrate the same story.

Historia
Everyone in Cedar Creek, Texas, knows Jack McNight is an arrogant devil. Physically, I get it: he’s tan and fit, with coal-black hair that’s clearly been scorched by hellfire. Oh, and his personality? It burns just as hot. When I show up on the doorstep of Blue Stone Ranch, I’m run-down and rockin’ my last pair of underwear. I’m hoping for a savior, but instead, I find him. My opinion of Jack is marred by a dismal first impression, but his opinion of me is tainted even before I arrive. He’s heard I’m a spoiled princess there to take advantage of his goodwill.

Revisado: 06-21-23
I loved the story, the depth of the plot and character development. I have read several books recently that I just wish had a stronger story line and stronger characters and this book
made me so happy. I loved Jack and Meredith’s banter and how their affection grew, it felt real. 10/5 I swear. I love, LOVE Aiden Snow as a narrator and this is the first I’ve heard Carly Robins and she’s just as amazing as Aiden. 20/5 for narration. I seriously can’t say enough goodness.

Amazing
Revisado: 02-27-22
A fantastic and detailed story of what happened to Gene Hambleton in the Vietnam War. With descriptions of what happened to the men who fought to rescue him. It was so well done. The narrator was wonderful, I’ve listened to him
Before but he was meant for this read. Utterly fantastic. I learned so much about that war I didn’t know. This was probably one of the best researched and well rounded books I’ve read. Highly recommend!!

Not terrible, but not great either
Revisado: 02-25-22
Could not get into this story. I like Susan Wiggs normally but this fell short. There were a LOT of discrepancies in the story, of an example; they were walking down the street talking then a characters car is mentioned and then said cars door is slammed. Like they’re weren’t in the car! A lot of that happened. The writing was just a little sloppily, it had the potential to be a really good book but she skipped actual situations and then just had the characters describe what happened in their very brief ways. I could not understand why the two main “love interests” shied away from each other when they both really liked each other. And the “best friend” is a really shitty friend. To both of them. And no, she is not a great person. I just could not. This book dragged and I was so disappointed.

Historia
Pampered heiress Georgianna Watkins has a party-girl image to maintain, but all the shopping and clubbing is starting to feel a little bit hollow - and a whole lot lonely. Though Georgie would never admit it, the highlights of her week are the mornings when she comes home at the same time as her uptight, workaholic neighbor is leaving to hit the gym and put in a long day at the office. Teasing him is the most fun Georgie's had in years - and the fuel for all her naughtiest daydreams.

I love Georgie, but I think I love Andrew more. They compliment each other so well. The story was well written, not a drama session which gets SO old. Witty and so funny, their banter is sarcastic and hilarious. I loved this novel.

Beautiful
Revisado: 12-18-21
I absolutely loved this book. I cried, laughed, learned and felt as if I was in the Lost and Found Bookshop with the characters. It was a fantastic journey of Natalie’s growth, family love, and connections. I wish I could shop there in real life! The only thing I can complain about was I wish it was longer, I won’t spoil it though. I also feel like the negative reviews were from readers who just didn’t get it. This book clearly wasn’t for them, but if you want a book that keeps you on your toes, gives you ALL the feels, and makes you think this is your book. I will now have to go fine this book in print from a local shop to feed my soul some more.
