A subject thought to be a challenge to read put me at ease due to author's superb writing

I like the humor this author chose to insert throughout the book. This author's writing flows in such a way that makes a reader feel he is having a conversation with me. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this writer choose to narrate his book as well. I chose to purchase the book and recording. I plan to read and listen to these often. Thank you for including the verses you used in your book.

A winner of a book

This book I could not put down once I started,which is what I want all of the books I read to accomplish.This book is so well written. I never pass up an audible performance narrated by Saskia Maarleveld. I look forward to reading Liz Moore's previous book as well as her future books.

A masterpiece

This author has taken the words of the English language and ordered them in such a way that they have become a masterpiece only a true artist can create. This is the most meaningful book I have ever read and listened to as well. The narrator nailed the recorded performance. This story will not be forgotten by me. This book will be read again;the recorded book listened to often. I enjoyed all the mentions of historical facts throughout this book. I will always think of this book when I reach for honey. Thank you to this author for entertaining me with extraordinary characters,beautiful settings,fascinating details,and a book that was so hard to put down once I opened it. I will go back and read this author's previous books and future books.

Exquisite heartfelt writing and narrating at its best

I loved everything about this book. This talented,extraordinary writer poured her heart and soul into every word she wrote and read. I could start over listening to this book again. A genuinely beautiful book so worthy to read as well as listen to on Audible

This author has written another masterpiece. It was an absolute pleasure to read this story about extraordinary women. The addition of the mention of so many books I remember reading in my childhood could not have pleased me more. Mention of the precious dog warmed my heart. This author has worked hard to research a story from the past and entertain readers royally. Rereading and listening to this story again is on my to do list. I should have known this book would be the rich read that it is. It exceeded my expectations. Readers will be missing out if they pass up the opportunity to read this exceptionally exquisite book. Thank you, Janet Skeslien Charles for the hard work,time,and effort you put into the writing of this book.

A book so worthy of being read

The women readers will meet and learn about really had stories to tell. They fought and worked to accomplish what seemed impossible. The narrator performed this reading so beautifully. I am so glad this author chose to write this book.

A clever read

This book is different from books I choose to read. I was captivated by the uniqueness of this author's writing. The narrators were outstanding. The author's writing flowed with such ease. The only drawback in listening and reading this book was the quantity of so much inappropriate language. It took away from the beauty of this author's gorgeous giftedness with words.

The most beautifully written book I have ever read

This gifted writer can craft the best books I have ever had the pleasure of reading. All of his books grace the honor of my bookshelves. His passion for writing shines through on each and every page he writes. After finishing listening or reading his books I want to immediately start over again. He writes from his heart and does not settle for second best. His books make me feel like a better person for having read them. He royally entertains his readers and makes them feel life is really worth living.

A beautiful masterpiece

This book was so impossible to put down. I listened to this superb narration as I follwed the book. There were many passages I highlighted as I read and listened. It was a treat to learn so much about this important woman whom I did not know. I was royally entertained with all her friends,her experiences,and how much she contributed in her lifetime as a writer. I will always remember the choice words she spoke to Edgar Allen Poe that put him in his place. It has been a pleasure to learn so much from history and be entertained along the way. I will anxiously be awaiting this author's future books. Thank you Allison Pataki. Margaret Fuller would have been proud of your writing and the fact that you chose to bring her story to life.

Outstanding

This book is a tribute to friendships,life as a military wife,and so much more. I applaud this author for narrating her book,which is what sold me on purchasing it. The beauty of your writing flowed so eloquently through your voice. The front cover of your book is one of the prettiest I have seen. I am one who always reads the acknowledgements at the end. You were so thorough as you wrote this final part of your book. I was most touched by the words you wrote about your mother,father,mother-in-law,and last but not least,your husband. All I can hope is that there will be more future books by you that your readers will be able to enjoy. Well done Simone Gorrindo.
