OH, I THINK I'M GOING TO LIKE YOU!!

This series is going to be amazing and waiting in between books is going to be torture. I have no complaints except it's light on the dark, but it's not plain either. just not detailed. it's really just perfect. I finished this book with the best feeling, it's sexy, no one annoyed me, the characters are hella strong, storyline is chefs kiss, can't wait for Killian's book. 3 more days!

Solid story. Love Gunz

Great storytelling, same type drama as Big and Binky, but there were a few holes in the story where I was like waaaaait a minute here, they can't just jump to that. I'm going to give names and that is all I'm going to give to avoid spoilers since this is a new release.

And you need to read all the Sacred Sinners books (not just Big Dicks chapter, but the Texas chapter as well otherwise you'll be lost as h3ll going in to this book)

The above had such prevalent roles in previous books and then in this book... well you'll understand. They could've gotten 3 chapters each just themselves and could've added to the story. But I'm not going to go into further details on them just know I wanted more and felt unsatisfied when Gunz and Kits story ended even with THEIR happy ending.

It's worth a credit, narration is gold, characters are top tier, loved bringing in past characters (again, read the previous books before reading this one, it's not right otherwise, and you'll annoy me 😜)

This could've easily been 5 books like Big and Binkys series, there was alot going on. Solid 4 stars otherwise. Bink is a master talent at writing MC novels and their workings. Bravo.

This book checked all my boxes, Max and his obsession for Joey, his alpha possessiveness, their chemistry radiates off the pages, it's freaking hot and I'm completely obsessed. I live for best friends little sister trope, this book is ridiculously addicting. definitely one I will re-listen to.

I've been reading alot of really dark romance novels because that's my favorite, so as this was definitely in the same genre, it was light, it was everything but nothing made my stomach roll. Spice was nice, the FMC had a backbone, the MMC was alpha and protective, the chemistry was off the charts, the storyline was suspenseful and it didn't drag ever, the pace was good, everything about this was great. secondary character excellent! This will most definitely be a re-listen. Well done. 👏👏👏

JH, girl, you can write a dang book. From Hawke to Kid, I just have the fullest heart and the biggest book hangover. Let's just say in the three weeks I've owned Hawke, I've listened to it three times, and now after Kid, this will be another repeat. Your books are just so much, so much emotion, so much spice, so much personality, I'm just so impressed. Let's just say, I now own all the books you have on audiobook and that trend will continue. Thank you for writing this, it truly is everything.

Phenomenal

Everything about this series is superb. Narration couldn't have been any better, I mean we're talking real tears and emotions here! But you've got everything in this serious. Angst, drama, possesive protective male, strong female personality but nothing arrogant, spice, secondary relationships to the main characters, you see this beautiful transformation of the characters throughout the series and fall in love with different people at different times. Hate some at some times, love some at other times. I never got bored once. (Per standard with BB novels)

Entire series is so cute!

this review is for the entire series: I love the storylines, MMC and FMC are both solid characters with really minimal annoyances, communication is pretty open throughout, I hate when a problem can be solved by just taking it out first, spice and dirty talk is nice, I love how in each of Brit's series, you can see her personality and things she might have dealt with in her youth, I'm just really enjoying reading through all her series. On to the next one. Good job BB!

Audio/narrators are perfectly matched, couldn't asked for better. That right there can make or break an audio book.

Cute but needed more depth

This was a good hockey romance, good characters, good spice, good storyline BUT it could've used 3 or 4 more hours of depth (at least a couple hundred more pages of writing), it was fairly shallow and rushed and could've gone really deep and meaningful, MORE character and storyline development... I wanted more. But that's a good thing I suppose, saying I wanted more. I can tell I'll like the series but they are all around the same length so I assume they're all going to be short and sweet without a ton of depth. My favorite hockey romance novels range at least 12 hours in average, this will be my 17th hockey book I've read in 2023, so I've got alot to compare against. SA is a favorite author of mine so I could've used a bit "more" to THIS story. Wish the series was sold as a set. THAT would be more valuable. Still, good hockey romance.
