Not for Christian audiences and not necessary for story arc.

Previous editions took the lords name in vain but this volume really leaned into it to the point that I’m not sure if the author used the same editor. Lots of unnecessary dialogue. Jesus depicted as a cartoon character of violence in a manner that’s not related to the story and is extremely distasteful. Previous volumes were entertaining but this book took multiple attempts to complete. Recommend skipping on this one, it’s a filler book leading to the next story line. Not worth the credit.

Just watch the TV series

TV series is better. Watch the series and skip on the audio books. Audio performance is great but there’s nothing in the story that exceeds the TV adaptation. Listened to the series through book 6, it’s not bad but not worth continuing on.

Using similar world building techniques as his previous work but in a single novel, this book doesn’t get remotely interesting until nearly the end. Focuses heavily on the mundane and had to restart the title multiple times to get through it.
