There is no way you can listen to this book and not get a sense of inspiration. The journey to and within the White House is extraordinary in itself. My hat goes off to her.

Modern ideal to an old time struggle
Revisado: 07-07-18
The author took what he was familiar with and incorporated it into a long told story. He is a very gifted writer and the narrator gifted in telling the story. I was able to transport myself into the the times and felt all the emotions that each situation would invoke. I just believe that the ideal of the train takes away the real struggle the Underground Railroad had.

Story drawn out but necessary!
Revisado: 06-29-18
The author allows the reader to understand the relationships between the characters. I realize that the length of the story was necessary, but still felt it was drawn out a bit too much. Still a great story.

Historia
Sometimes the worst storms aren't from Mother Nature, and sometimes the worst nightmares aren't the ones in our heads. Mike Mitchell, an average New Yorker already struggling to keep his family together, suddenly finds himself fighting just to keep them alive when an increasingly bizarre string of disasters starts appearing on the world's news networks. As both the real world and the cyber world come crashing down, bending perception and reality, a monster snowstorm cuts New York off from the world, turning it into a wintry tomb where nothing is what it seems.

Slow start but worth the build up.
Revisado: 09-07-15
It took a moment to really get into the heart of the story. A necessary evil to evolve characters and kind of puts you in the sense of "what's happening, and is this really happening!" Great book!!!

I enjoy the witty approach of analyzing data that is available but too taboo for main stream. Gray is life.
