Story
Taken from life as an office drone by a trickster god, Tim finds himself in the magical world of Iocusinte, where change is his only constant. It grants him great potential, enough to be sought out by different factions looking to use him for their own ends. That potential, however, is mercurial. His Class and very appearance shift at random. If Tim is to survive long enough to enjoy this new world and the friends he's making, then he'll have to solve the riddle of his nature and learn to master the uncontrollable.

Just as I get interested the story changes and I am bored. The mc has random class changes after he sleeps so just as you figured out what is going on it changes

Mark’s new life begins in the worst possible place—a burned-out village haunted by undead. Each morning these ravenous creatures disappear, only to return at night, driven by a relentless hunger. He'll need to stay low and think quick, because trapped and alone in the body of a child, he can’t level up in this new world. At least not yet. Soon Mark will learn that even among the living, safety isn’t guaranteed. When the small town that he ends up in turns out to be at the center of a conspiracy that threatens the world, he'll need to uncover the truth before it's too late.

Starts a little slow and the MC sounds a little whiny at first then it takes off and I want more! The characters grow in a reasonable arc and by the end you are invested in them loved it!

Story
Greg and Julian need to make a choice—die in the tornado that’s sucked them up in their van, or agree to hunt monsters in a world full of magic and levels and, oh yeah…monsters. The two frat bros may be master ghost hunters to their podcast listeners, but they never expected their antics to be taken seriously by a goddess in another dimension. And since when are ghosts the same as monsters? Awkward. But when the other option is certain death, it seems like it’s worth giving it the old college try.

Story
Betrayed by those closest to him, Viktor's soul couldn't move on for decades. Pitied by one of the Gods, he was given the chance to participate in the next round of bets between the gods. It was an eternally violent game known as Towers and Rifts. The world he found himself in was nothing like the one he'd spent centuries cultivating and becoming stronger. He was right back at the bottom along with everyone else but for the knowledge he retained.

Story is all over the place. Little to no character development. I find myself not caring about the characters or the story. The then with no character development we have a pointless romance that adds nothing to the story.

Join Jake as he navigates his crazy new reality of different dimensions, dangerous monsters, and powerful gods. Eastern cultivation meets a gacha-like LitRPG system as Jake’s understanding of an eternal struggle grows. Evolutions to new monster forms and races, powerful items straight out of Xianxia, and powerful sacred arts will help Jake survive. The earth will never be the same after the apocalypse, but maybe after getting a second chance, Jake will be enough to tip the balance and prevent true evil from prevailing.

I enjoy how unpredictable the book is. The character is both lucky and clever. So many issues turn out for his benefit in ways that are unexpected. Clever uses of abilities yup I enjoyed it.

Not as good as the first one
Reviewed: 05-01-22
More recipes than more recipes very little story. The recipes in the first one didn’t overshadow the story as much as they do in this one the book is largely just one big how to cook whatever recipe they’re on at that point in the book. The story itself is still pretty good but maybe 3-4 hour of the entire book is actually story , most of the rest I kid you not is actually one big how to cook.
