I honestly was overwhelmed when I first started with this book. There was so much information and characters to pay attention to but I kept going and was blown away! Amazing book!

Story
Evelyn Thomas's plans for celebrating her twenty-first birthday in Las Vegas were big. Huge. But she sure never meant to wake up on the bathroom floor with a hangover to rival the black plague, a very attractive half-naked tattooed man in her room, and a diamond on her finger large enough to scare King Kong. Now if she could just remember how it all happened.

Corny and predictable
Reviewed: 07-03-16
I was really hoping for this book to be a fun listen but it really fell short for me. I found the story to be cheesy, generic, and predictable. Andi Arndt did do a decent read of the book though. I'm really bummed I wasted a point on this book. I wouldn't really recommend it to anyone I personally know.

Story
Melanie is a very special girl. Dr. Caldwell calls her "our little genius". Every morning, Melanie waits in her cell to be collected for class. When they come for her, Sergeant keeps his gun pointing at her while two of his people strap her into the wheelchair. She thinks they don't like her. She jokes that she won't bite, but they don't laugh. Melanie loves school. She loves learning about spelling and sums and the world outside the classroom and the children's cells. She tells her favorite teacher all the things she'll do when she grows up.

Story
For fans of Tina Fey and David Sedaris - Internet star Jenny Lawson, aka The Bloggess, makes her literary debut. Jenny Lawson realized that the most mortifying moments of our lives - the ones we'd like to pretend never happened - are in fact the ones that define us. In Let's Pretend This Never Happened, Lawson takes readers on a hilarious journey recalling her bizarre upbringing in rural Texas, her devastatingly awkward high school years, and her relationship with her long-suffering husband, Victor.

Loved it

I loved this book! I read a few "don't read this in public" comments because you'll burst out into laughter and I didn't take them seriously. Well it happened. Not only to me but also to my husband. I loved every minute of this book. Seriously funny.
