Why are these books getting shorter?

I’ve noticed that Flynn is going shorter and shorter with each book; new one is like 8 hours.
This author is not telling full stories and fans want books to be longer. It’s very difficult for Kyle Mills to to tell a story at 9 hours or with newest book at 8hours. I’m shocked by the new book. It’s time for the writer to accept that we want more content. Will the next book be 7, then the next six? It’s like reading an abridged version!!
I wish there was more I could do to change the mind of author.,
The books are extremely disappointing and completely unsatisfying.
Vince had books that were 15 hours. I loved those. But I don’t know how to get their skulls around the fact that we feel cheated. Several friends and other fans feel the same as I do!!

I have never been so taken with a Scot Harveth book yet. Granted they have been 5 star novels all along with a few exceptions. But this one really blew me away. Love everything about it! Pissed off at POTUS for sure.

I didn’t understand the obsession with Pike at first. But I had been reading other fantastic books when I started these.
Now I’m seeing that these are some of the best, yet there are only 5-6 books left, I’m flying thru. One book a day. Maybe day and a half.

Now I’m wondering if the books got better, or if it was always so good, and I just missed it. Maybe I’ll listen to some again.
These are so well written and have action throughout plus humor and tons of character development in the best way. The narration is perfect. Pike has his own narrator in 1st person, and another narrator telling all the stories the connect to pikes journeys. It’s very well done.

Victor is one of my favorite. My top reads in the genre have been Reacher, Mitch Rapp, Dewey Andreas, Greyman, and a few others.
I think Victor is a refreshing change to these characters. (He does have a conscience btw) I read his books So quickly, that I’m annoyed to have finished all of them.
I think this is up there in top 4 of all the bad-boys. Next I’ll try Pike Logan, then all I have left is Scot Harveth. I’ve sadly read as much good as bad from Thor’s reviewers. His writing style sounds like it will annoy me greatly. Running out of these types of books. Not sure what I’ll listen to next, when all the bad ass books are read. I guess I should try David Baldacci's series.

This was really well done. I didn’t hold out much hope bc just listened to all of Grayman, but this turned out to be a solid, very well written story. Especially btw assassin and the ppl he got help from.

Heartbreaking plot, I really wanted these missions to be successful. And truly enjoyed the ending. Love the first scene. Greaney messes with your head with that opening. I can’t really say much bc I won’t spoil anything!

I feel like I haven’t noticed the narrator on other books before, but he is by far the best narrator for books like this. I can imagine him doing well in Rapp, Reacher, Andreas, and all the other books like these I’ve been listening to. He is truly a class act. I actually selected GreyMan series after starting 2 other awesome similarly-rated series, but hating the narrators. This was the third book I was tried and I haven’t stopped since. This is book 7 I believe, and I’m already started in 8.

I gave up on Orphan X- Nowhere man, bc it was too ridiculous. I read quite a lot 4-5 of them and just stopped. The books were shockingly childish emotionally. One note and same issues come up every single time. Very ‘YA. Seriously Stunted in the character growth.

No stupid issues like that here. It’s all business, with a tiny bit of Very Interesting character development as you read on. By 5 you’ll start to see the character shift in his ways. Then things get si much better.

I love these books. They def get better as we get to know the main character each time.
I like these better as we get acquainted with Gentry. He is amazing. I enjoyed this, but it’s Bour time for this character to find love soon!

What was worse? This one or the the previous? Maybe equally poorly done. The writer repeats the dumbest “tough” line in all novels.
“ ask yourself? Do I look scared?” He complains all of this book about childish things that he’s been already complaining about for ages. Is he special or just lucky? Is he an immoral killer or someone who helps those in dire need, in other words? Is he good or bad? Will he ever have a normal life? What would it be like to be with Mia. Can I really be a normal person again? Now add is my mother proud or horrified? And it goes on and on.

The reason that his mom was didn’t keep him is woefully lame and horrible. I didn’t think he should hang around with a woman who gave him up for such selfish reasons. Much less let her Judge Evan.

I got sick of this writing quickly. I won’t be reading this anymore. Moved on to gray man series.
Scott brick got a little over the top in this one!

I’m a big fan of Reacher, Rapp, and lately I’ve been listening to series like Dewey Andreas and Terminal List. I like this book more than Jack Carr so far.
I really love the backstory and the premise of this. It reminds me a bit of Reacher. But it’s obviously different and it’s own story! Loved this book. Hoping the rest of series is just as good.
Scott Brick has evolved for sure. He’s amazing as narrator here!

No spoilers! I liked the first 2 books in this series. But this 3rd book was by far the very best. It’s a true masterpiece!
I’m no fan of the short story that inspired this novel, but this was extremely well done. I thought I knew what would happen, but I was wrong- and the ending was utterly satisfying.
I’m excited to hear the next book, and only wish there were more available.
FYI: I read this after listening to Rapp, Dewey Andreas, and Jack Reacher. (My top 3 favorites).
I was looking for something special, and found it in this book. But don’t start here. Start with 1st book and read in order. It’s well worth it.
