Good but a little week from Mr Brooks. Thought the stories were ok - but nothing really drop-down on the ground funny. Most stories were just a recap of things I had heard before. Enjoyable but thought it could be a lot better

Well-written book about climate change and it’s possible effects. Dine in a very interesting style that introduces lots of concepts and issues involved in climate change and humanity in a truly global world. Make sure to look up the dates mentioned and learn a lot about our world.

Didn't quite know what to expect from this book. Got it on the recommendation of a friend and just started listening with very little knowledge of what the book was about. It is an intricate telling of individual stories all connected to one another in some way. Was a little slow to start. Caught fire in the middle. And then it slowly ended. It is a hard listen if you do not pay close attention. You will not see the connections in the stories. I have to say overall I really enjoyed this book. I would compare his style to something like Kurt Vonnegut in the sense that a good many characters in the stories appear again or are an integral part in other stories in the book.

Not as good as 'The Drunkard's Walk' but in all a good book. Seems a little short compared to his other work. I found it interesting and as always he has great examples. But overall it could have been better. If you are new to Mlodinow I would say read TDW instead.

This was a very entertaining book. I don't know what to say about it other than it was very quirky. The story was amusing and entertaining and the ending was very satisfying. One of the strangest books I have read.

This was my first try at historical fiction. I found that this book got a lot of good reviews for the genre. It was an OK story but way way too long. When he would read emails we would have to go through the to, from, subject - including the RE nonsense. It almost made me want to throw my phone. He would also spend way too much time explaining linux/unix commands. He went into great unbelievable detail about almost everything. I am also not so sure I like the genre. So if you are a big fan of historical fiction -- you should probably ignore my review

Don't know if everyone will love Vonnegut's writing as much as I do. He has a style that I just love. He does have a style very much like Douglas Adams ( or should I say Douglas Adams has Vonnegut's style -- cause Vonnegut was first). He has great explanations for the most ridiculous things. Absurd!!
