Publisher's summary

Holly Garrett was in trouble. The stranger who'd saved her from a storm was not asking for her help. And he was inviting her to live with him. She could cook for him, and bathe him, but nothing had prepared her for the glances he threw her way.

Holly and Mistletoe

Another amazing read from Ms. Mallery. The narrator wasn't as good as Therese Plummer, but she wasn't bad either.

Fireman's rescue of cat brings unexpected ending

Would you listen to Holly and Mistletoe again? Why?

Yes because it was very enjoyable to listen to and a fun, light romance. Not an overpoweringly sexy story but well done.

What did you like best about this story?

Mistletoe, the cat was a big part of the story and her reaction to her rescuer made life very difficult for him since she ended up living in his home. She seemed to like the rest of his family just fine but had problems with him. Made his romantic feelings for Holly more difficult since she managed to be where she was in the way a lot.

Which scene was your favorite?

I think the scene where his family went around singing (off key) Christmas Carols. It was a funny scene.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I laughed a lot while listening to this story. It was very lighthearted and just plain fun.

Sweet story

A sweet story with a predictable plot. What better to read during the holiday period when our mind turns to good things. Although the plot was predictable and the reader knows what was going to happen, it was still enjoyable.

Where are the earlier books

It was a fun story but now I need to read the earlier books but Audible does not offer them at this time.
Frustrating

Adorable Story...

Loved the story, sweet, fluffy but narrator often speaks so slowly you lose your place in the story.

Recommend it for a great holiday read.

Super sweet.

I loved this super sweet book about a woman who had body insecurities falling in love with her dream man. It is dated. But the story and romance was fully flushed out.

Very disappointing book and narration

What disappointed you about Holly and Mistletoe?

The entire story line was a vast disappointment. Not worth what I paid for it. But it got lost in the several books I bought and it is too late to return it.

What was most disappointing about Susan Mallery’s story?

The entire story line is beneath what I have read in other books from her. Did she allow someone to write it and then use her name as author?

Would you be willing to try another one of Eliza Foss’s performances?

Absolutely NOT. She sounds like she is falling asleep in the first chapter. Then her entire tone through out the book is really either falling asleep or trying to be sensual, which she is NOT.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

Anger for purchasing it.

Any additional comments?

This book is really the worst book I have ever tried to listen to. It is too late to return it or I would. I purchased it during a very busy time and it just got lost in the shuffle. Never again will I allow this to happen. The author, Susan Mallery should personally return the money I paid for the book to me with her apologies.
