Publisher's summary

Jason Burke is a broken man. The loss of his friend and crewmate on an ill-fated mission to a Pillar World has left him in a downward spiral of rage and self-destruction. But what if Lucky hadn’t actually died on that planet?

While Omega Force tries to pull itself together for the sake of their friend, they also learn that a ruthless new faction has seized control of the ConFed Council and now threatens the stability of the entire quadrant. To make matters worse, the rise of this new regime might be their fault.

Jason’s loyalties are pulled in all directions as he tries to not only help his friend but also correct a horrible mistake from his past. Will his refusal to sacrifice either mission cause him to fail at both?

Legends Never Die is audiobook ten in the best-selling Omega Force series.

Reunited... But to What end?

The series has developed in a way that I am happy to say is believable, if you believe in the possibilities of what we can accomplish with science.
The fact that almost all the alien life portrayed in the series has almost human like behavior as far as commerce and social functions is possibly a bit of a stretch, but at least it creates a reality that you can participate in if it is true.

The situations this crew get caught up in are amazing, in consideration of their potential importance on the galactic scale, but with the bravado and style they bring, how could they be anything less?

With the style of a wild west frontier, the tech of star wars, and an ability to relate like someone we probably all knew growing up, this series ties strings around your desire to see what happens next, and live like you are a part of it.

After the incredible fortune of reuniting the crew, can Jason piece together the events that have cost him so much. Can Cage connect the dots well enough to figure out where they need to be next? Can Crusher stand by when his home world eventually falls to this new threat? Will Twingo be given a chance to integrate the Travelers energy weapon and dimensional jumping into the Phoenix? Will Jasons son make an appearance and cost everyone?

So much potential, and so much more that could happen. I am eager to get into the next book in the series.

But to be an honest critic, I have to bring up the negative.

Lucky has a back story that is not exactly... Without continuity errors. His age has varied. The count of lot 700 at one time was 38... Then 37. Now there are 36 after the loss of the slicer specialist unit. The synth concept needed to be more explored before used, but I think it has finally matured into a useable concept.

While I look forward to some imaginative abilities of the new Lucky, I hope the abilities remain in the realm of believability. I don't think I could handle the battle synth being able to teleport himself, but I could believe an active camouflage to infiltrate highly secured facilities.

Aside from that little knit pick in continuity, the series is fairly solid and fun.

I highly recommend the Omega Force Series. Cant wait to see where this leads. All the characters come to life and you see them blossom into the team they are. glad to see Lucky is back.

Grief has it's place, then it's time to get even!

It will be really facinating to follow Lucky's continued story with Jason and the rest of the best mercs in this part of the galaxy.

Another great story!

It's a pleasure to continue to see this universe be fleshed out and the adventures of Omega Force continue. If you've gotten this far you're just along for the line, invested in these great characters and a fun story. The writing is pleasurable and the narrator's performance continues to be amazong.

the story details

this series can be listened to over and over again and is still enjoyable. The characters are believable and the relationship between them is what most families would wish for. Keep up the work and let me know when you write more. I have listened to the complete series three times and will listen to Jason's son, Jacob again for the second time. The plot has enough detail so that there is always something to enjoy and discover.

Cabbage rolls and coffee

Every morning the same thing. Pull the covers back, grab my mobile reader... no Omega Force. I try running around the woods with my AR-19 looking for "downed" "aircraft" and once again, usually nothing. No workouts with crusher in the basement! No yelling at Cage when my computer slows down at work! Twingo never around to help change the oil on my Prius. Worst of, NO LUCKY to watch me shower. Look man! Get Josh and Paul moving! We don't have all day. I swear I'm so close to planting coffee beans and actually bidding on Mecum Auctions. Come on man! Do me a solid. I gots ta know. What happens to the Machine!

This book regardless of what is said by others is worth every credit. Also, I think the SciFi readers love saying "worth every credit". I know I do. I will give you more credit chips for the next in series. To Munte: I can say with utmost enthusiasm that you evoke a pompous attitude that portrays narcissistic tendencies and a self-loathing of your inner child. Please take a page from the Book of Hastings, chapter 12 vs 21-17 (read backward) "Take the challenge of hope and poor not the BeefEaters lest there be lime wedges. Use the wedge to render the Beefeaters pure and tasteful for the sacred consumption. Ya-Men

GREAT

Best series. Needs to be a movie or tv series. Better than Star Wars, Star Trek, Fire Fly
