Hearts collide when a sheriff’s daughter asks a hardened US marshal to join her fight for justice and rid a small town of her corrupt father.

Wyoming Territory, 1876.

US Marshal John “Hawk” Hawking is one of the most respected lawmen in the West, so when a telegram arrives from the small town of Sand Creek warning him of a death threat against him, he immediately begins an investigation.

Posing as a farmer, Hawk heads to Sand Creek, a town ruled by a violent and corrupt sheriff. Only one person is trying to stop him―Liesl, the sheriff’s own daughter. When Liesl meets the self-assured and attractive new farmer, John, she hopes he might help her in the fight for justice.

John is completely unfazed by Sheriff Hodges’s attempts at intimidation, and Liesl is quickly swept up by Hawk’s courage and integrity. Just as quickly, Hawk finds himself falling for Liesl’s strength and bravery, as well as her grace and beauty.

When Liesl discovers John’s true identity, she feels betrayed. Despite her lingering distrust of him, Liesl agrees to work with him to enact a dangerous plan that will put the criminals away forever. Liesl must put her life, and her heart, in the hands of his lawman if she has any hope of saving her family and her town.

Finally, Hawks story.. worth the wait!

Sarah M Eden, does it again!
I have been waiting for this book since before it was even announced lol. I was hoping hawk would find a true love ever since the second book. I was very excited the day I watched the live announcement for this book. Waited months! When I saw that it was a different narrator I was worried. You get used to voices when you like other books in the same series.
(I still haven’t purchased the last in the Dredd penny series. Because the narrator I find awful. And that is very sad.). I am really happy that this narrator used pretty much the same voices, it amazes me how familiar they sounded to the old characters from the different narrator for the first two books. I’m glad that she did that, and didn’t do, her own spin…
The story was amazing! The romance, as always as perfect, the drama and suspense was perfect. Fantastic job, Sarah, very well written.
Now, if I may, let’s figure out a story for that elusive lawyer… Hope to come back to Savage Wells

Shallow and juvenile despite the potential.

Not a fan of Sarah Edens Western’s. The plots are weak the and the characters shallow. For example the main character should have been an interesting young woman but she consistently reacts to very difficult situations like an emotionally immature child. Not getting what she wants then getting what she wants and then not being able to process the reality of what it takes to get there. If you want something light but need something interesting and intelligent her work will irritate you. I rate her as a juvenile writer on par with Victoria Holt.

Nice Christian Fiction

This was a nice book I needed as a Christian fiction, it wasn't anything special it did have a nice feel to it
This book is the third book in a series called Savage Wills, each book is a separate entity than the other, we do get characters from precious books but it can be read separately, so, In this book we will follow Marshall Hawk, he is a man of the law with a "heart of stone" as he is always referred to by everyone, then one day he receives a Telegram warning him about an assassination attempt on him, so as a lawman he go to a town where there is something fishy going on to investigate what's happening and he meets Lisle, the daughter of the town's sheriff and she is against her father in every way possible, so they are teamed together to bring her father down and expose a conspiracy happening regarding the assassination on Hawk
As I said the book was nice enough, not that enjoyable but it was nice and everything ended in a clean cut way, I have nothing more to say about it at this point

Description feels really clichè, but I enjoyed the story.

Enjoyed the story. With the limitations of space in a novel of this kind, it's kind of hard to fit much plot and character development in without feeling like it's a bit rushed.
Decided to listen to it because I'm from Wyoming, and I was curious what would be said about it.

Good story line

This book was really good. Keeps you wondering just who is the bad guy and a touch of romance plus there was no vulgarity or swearing.

this is exactly what I wanted for Hawk

I have been longing for this story since I finished Healing Hearts in 2019. Savage Wells is my favorite town. If possible I would love another story there but am satisfied with this story being the ending too.

Worth listening

I love everything Sarah writes. I look forward to every new book, and while I really loved following this series. And while I think the narrator did a fine job, I did not care for the voice chosen for Lietzl. It sounded a bit mousey, at odds with the courageous woman she is portrayed as.

Nice story.

Enjoyed the simplicity of this story, but it wasn't boring. Nice story, good characters and very enjoyable.

Engaging and fun characters

This was a fun story with good voice performance. The plot felt a bit contrived at times, but had genuinely charming and unique characters and worldvuilding.

Lovely book

I enjoyed this book very much. I’ve read the previous 2 books in this series and have been waiting for Hawk’s story. It was well written, clean and enjoyable.
