Request a repair

If something in your accommodation breaks or needs repairing, you should request a repair or maintenance in the Accommodation Portal. You must report issues as soon as possible so we can fix them quickly.

Ask to move rooms

If you are unhappy with your room, you can apply for a room transfer from 21 October 2024 until February 2025.

Paying fees 

All your accommodation fees are listed in the Accommodation Portal on the 'My Accommodation Fees' page.

If you have a question about your financial statement or rent payments, email student-fees@bristol.ac.uk or call +44 (0)117 428 3000. The phone line is open between Monday to Friday, 9 am to 4.30 pm.

If you have missed a rent payment, you can email finance-creditcontrol@bristol.ac.uk for support.

For questions related to students in the community, please email community-living@bristol.ac.uk.

Complaints or concerns

If you have experienced an issue with your accommodation or are dissatisfied with our service, you can raise a concern or complaint.

Complaints can only be made by students.

Parents and carers

We prefer to speak to students directly. If you contact us on behalf of a student, we require their consent to speak with you. This is in line with our confidentiality policy.
