Swimming lessons for both adults and children (aged five and over) wanting either to learn how to swim, gain confidence or improve their stroke begins from Monday 12 July at the University of Bristol swimming pool in Clifton.
All lessons are 30 minutes long and taught by experienced Amateur Swimming Association [ASA] instructors. One-to-one sessions covering levels from non-swimmer to competitor level can also be arranged.
The programme of classes (maximum eight persons per class) are as follows:
- Five-week classes for adults (£25) and children (£20) start every Monday from 12 July. Thirty-minute slots available starting from 4 pm to 6 pm.
- Five-week classes for adults (£25) and children (£20) start every Tuesday 13 July. Thirty-minute slots available starting from 4 pm to 6 pm.
- Five -week classes for adults (£25) and children (£20) start every Saturday 17 July. Thirty-minute slots available starting from 9 am to 12 noon.
The University swimming pool is on Queen’s Road, Clifton and is part of the University’s Centre for Sport, Exercise and Health.
