Now You Can Turn Your Phone Into A Virtual Buddy System

Welcome to Rave Guardian, the companion app to CMU-Alert, Carnegie Mellon University's emergency notification service .    With direct connections to helpful safety resources, family, friends and others you trust, you can feel safe any time.  This free app will push CMU-Alert notifications and provide a direct connection to University Police. It also includes a safety timer and links to helpful campus safety resources.

The   Emergency Call button will allow you to call University Police wherever you are.

Desktop Users: The Google Play store will not work with your CMU Google account. Ensure you are logged into a non - Andrew affiliated Google account, preferably one used by your mobile device.

Ethics Hotline

Submissions are reported to appropriate university personnel and handled discreetly.

The hotline is NOT an emergency service. For on-campus emergencies, call University Police at 412-268-2323. For off-campus emergencies, call 911.
