New Findings: Citations & Article Promotion Correlation
 

Cureus authors who publish exceptional and innovative articles may be eligible for our Article Promotion program. Published Cureus authors can check their dashboard to see if they qualify.
 
We recently discovered a significant correlation between Article Promotions and citations:

47.7% of promoted articles are cited by other authors, while non-promoted articles are cited only 32.8% of the time. 27.3% of promoted articles receive more than one citation, while non-promoted articles are cited more than once just 15% of the time.
