Thank you to our donors and sponsors for your generous support, which transforms the lives of Curtin students through scholarships.
Curtin’s Scholarships site allows you to search and apply for scholarships specific to you. By filtering the search criteria you can generate all scholarships which are specific to you, your course of study or faculty you are in. Curtin offers both merit and need based scholarships. As each scholarship has its own eligibility criteria, please open the scholarships information page to find out if you are eligible to apply.
Some scholarships will require you to apply through TISC and have Curtin as your first preference, while others do not.
The Scholarships website outlines the required eligibility criteria for each scholarship, as well as further useful information.
The Curtin Excellence Scholarship requires students to have Curtin as their first preference by the scholarship closing date (last date to change preferences in TISC for main round offers).
Scholarships are part of Curtin’s commitment to rewarding academic excellence, supporting research and enabling students from all backgrounds to realise their potential. Curtin offers a number of Scholarships to international students. Applicants will be automatically assessed for scholarships offered by Curtin International when they lodge an application for the course.
There are various scholarships on offer to study at Curtin University, some from the university and others from the Australian Government. Scholarships can help you fund your studies in Australia, covering expenses such as tuition fees, accommodation or living costs. You may also sign up to the Scholarship email alert to make sure you don’t miss out any scholarship opportunities.
Your eligibility to apply for multiple scholarships will depend on current criteria:
TISC applicants
You may only receive one scholarship in any one offer round. If you qualify for more than one scholarship you will be offered the scholarship of higher value. If the scholarships are of similar value, you will have the opportunity to choose which scholarship to accept.
Current students and direct applicants
If you are a current scholarship recipient, your ability to apply for additional scholarships will depend on the terms and conditions of each scholarship and must come from a different funding source that does not conflict with your current scholarship.
For more information, visit the Scholarships website or contact Curtin Connect.
Current students: The scholarship application process is completed online. Current student scholarship applications generally open in October and close in March. Once scholarships are open, the link to the online form will be available on each scholarship information page via the Scholarships website.
Future Students: Most scholarships can be applied for online. Some of our future student scholarships (for example the Curtin Excellence Scholarship) do not require an application. More information can be found on the Scholarships website.
