    Stan Lee may be the best known editor of comics in America, but nobody has done it longer, harder, or better than Julius Schwartz. His history with science fiction is undeniable - he is credited with discovering Ray Bradbury and selling early stories by Alfred Bester, Henry Kuttner, C.L. Moore, even H. P. Lovecraft! In comic books, he co-created Adam Strange, redesigned the Flash, Green Lantern, and the Atom, updated Hawkman & the Spectre, and so much more. He's worked with all the great comic writers from Jerry Siegel to Alan Moore. This book is more of a memoir than an actual biography. His life was filled with so many anecdotes and incidents there just isn't enough room to do justice to them all. That is the one flaw with this book - it shows very little of his private life.
