I bought this unit because my existing player that was in my equipment rack had died. Denon was unable to support the repair because of it's age. I found a replacement on EBAY for a reasonable price and was the exact same model so all my connections worked with out any changes. What I like most is the cueing function to recall and play a track. What I dislike about the player is that this model is discontinued and Denon will not support it. If I need another replacement I will try to find one on EBAY first. If the same player is not available I will think about modifying my equipment rack to accomodate a different player.

CD's won't play, skips, stutters, sometimes won't find the CD in the tray. Store bought, CD recorder, or computer made....doesn't mater. This purchase was a total waste.

I purchased this unit some months ago. I'm extremely happy with this unit. The functionality is simple and the play back for the cd is superb. Wish the cassette had 3 heads, but overall a good sounding unit. This unit is strictly for recording cd to cassette. I'm a tapehead so it's perfect in my opinion.
