      Strange Pairing...

      Perhaps it is appropos that the two most tangential albums from an artist who is himself indeed tangential are together on this compilation. While "Long Misty Days" is as raw and Earthy as I have heard production&execution-wise from Mr. Trower's outfit, "In City Dreams" is dancing on the edge of being over-produced, with the mix so carefully textured that it can almost put off an ardent fan. These two together show that, in the middle of that pendulum-swing, was along the lines of "Bridge of Sighs".
