Although not quite as realistic as 031 or 027 track ,it is more durable and can be easily incorporated with realistic scenery to fit a lay out. A lot of my larger trains run better and quieter on fast track ,so I will add or build a layout with it.

Product also can automatically switch when a heavy locomotive or diesel (O scale) passed over it which allows for returning loops, etc, Downside of product is that lighter locomotives or diesels (typically O27 scale) tend to derail when passing over the switch when attempting to automatically activated and change the switch direction. In some instances the frog requires a little filing to improve switch performance and avert derails.
