The only issue I've had is that the gates bounce as the train rolls over the crossing. This is because the crossing is operating by the weight of the engine and cars.

I was happy to find this in G Scale! At was very easy to put onto the tracks. It works well, but there is no sound to these gates, nor lights. You should know this if that is important to you. The gates go down as the train crosses.
