In the beginning, authors describe what it's like to live with injured boundries, and all I could utter was 'I know, right?!!' To anyone who wants to learn how to take your power back and be in full charge of your life regardless of actions of others or circumstances life throws at you, I highly HIGHLY recommend this book. For years I have been searching for answers that are found on the pages of this book. Countless friends, coworkers, councelors, therapists, and other books don't hold a candle to this best seller. This is a life changer, and I am so grateful that a still small voice miraculously lead me to it. After decades of abuse and mental/emotional enslavement, my life was all about anticipating needs of everyone around me and fulfilling whatever others wanted. I find boundaries to help me explain what is expected and it helps others feel safe and on the same page. Would highly recommend it. Now, boundaries in dating and boundaries in marriage were books that I got less benefit from. I would also recommend these authors as they wrote some books on parent bonding. Most boundary issues stem from home and lack of consistency/trust. People are resilient and we can heal!
