It contains more than 300 poems written by 123 authors, and includes the rhymed precepts of medieval times., The outstanding verse written for children over the past five hundred years has been assembled here. More than three hundred pieces by 123 named authors, a fifth of them American, are arranged chronologically, from Chaucer and Lydgate to T.S. Eliot and Ogden Nash. Notes on the authors deal in particular with the poems included here.

The item was just as described and an amazing price so that's why I'm giving positive feedback. It's over 10 dollars cheaper than average for this item which can't be beat. But man, it took over 20 days to get to me. And when I messaged them I got stock response until finally told it shipped and then it did. That's the problem with this seller, they make the shipping label almost instantly but take weeks to actually send out the item. I dunno if I'll order from them again.

I see a number of negative comments about this seller, but I took a chance since it was a great price for the book I was looking for. I ordered on July 2 and just got the book today July 22. It came in safely packed and intact. Condition was as described and expected. The seller uses DHL for shipping, and I think this is where most complaints stem from. Once I ordered the book there was no further info other than it had shipped. No tracking number. Otherwise, I have no issues with this seller.

Very slow to arrive (well past estimate), but came safely at last. Minimalist packaging that was split open on one end by the time of arrival (not surprising given the long trip). Customer service polite when contacted regarding delay and an initial lack of tracking details; after communicating with them, the tracking began to provide information at last. The book is the correct edition and is in the “very good” condition advertised; also it was very fairly priced. Definitely satisfied.
