Highlighting success in the heritage sector

I WAS immensely gratified and enthused by the success stories in issue 240. Among the many, the windfall for the NorthYorkshire Moors Railway in the slipstream from theTV programmes was a particularly salutary lesson in the value of publicity.

While I seldom rejoice in the downfall of others, I must confess to a touch of ‘schadenfreude’at the prosecution of three of the morons responsible for the recent vandalism at Pickering.
