TECHNIQUE 1

FLOWER PETAL ROUNDS

(Peony 1, Ruffled Camellia, Camellia, Azalea)

These paper flowers are created with single flower petal rounds.

Here’s how

STEP 1 Fold each of the flower petals gently in half, and then bend them back on a pencil to create a more natural flower shape.

STEP 2 Bunch each flower round upwards and inwards, to give the petals a 3D shape.

STEP 3 Glue each flower layer together (on top of each other), from large to small, alternating the petal positions so they overlap.

FREEFORM PETALS

(Peony 2, Rose 1 and 2)

These flowers are created using individual petals overlapped together to create the flower petal layers.
