WHAT CLUE, PUSSYCAT?

This should have been a brilliant game. In some ways, it is – in bursts. How could it not be? You play as a cat called John who looks like Batman wearing Columbo’s coat; a cat with his own detective agency, who stars in a noir thriller set in 1950s New York that dutifully hits the notes you’d expect. Everyone in the city in fact, is an anthropomorphised animal, true to the acclaimed French comic book series the game is based on.
