BUYING A RENTAL?

I frequently receive notifications from car hire companies I use with offers to purchase one of their “retired” vehicles. These deals appear tempting, as the mileages are quite low and prices very reasonable. As I am presently in the market for a used car, I am tempted but somewhat hesitant because multiple drivers have been using these vehicles which they do not own and accordingly probably do not care about. However, in light of the assumption the cars are probably serviced regularly, perhaps my hesitancy is misplaced?
