Best of 2019

It was a year of drama and bombast. ‘Daring’ was one of the words most often used in the interiors world, as were ‘sustainable’, ‘handmade’ and ‘playful’. So, we bring you objects of desire from the world over. Some have made us think, others smile; some do little things quite well, others do larger things with a sense of flair.

Some come from our absolute favourite local furniture and lighting designers or importers. Others are international objects that, given our highly connected era, can be obtained, shipped and enjoyed as if they had made their way from our local purveyor.

It is by no means an exhaustive list of the 2019 items that made us stop and gasp a little; it is, nonetheless, one we hope you enjoy.
