A curlycoated comeback

I’VE ALWAYS believed that our old and rare native breeds of gundogs have much in common with classic cars.

They often look good, albeit in a somewhat old-fashioned way, and though they rarely perform as well as their more modern counterparts, the charm and pleasure of using them more than makes up for their shortcomings. However, their appeal is limited as they are frequently high maintenance, while even reliability can be a problem. The plus side is turning up at a shoot with
