A different kind of mask
Lauren had never been the jealous type – she’d never had reason. But when a new neighbour moved in next door, even she did a double-take. The newcomer was tall, slim, blonde and wearing full and immaculate make-up – on moving-in day. She also appeared to be single.
It seemed Rob had noticed her, too.
“I think I’ll pop round to say Hello’,” he announced that same afternoon when he got in from work and saw her in the garden. “Be a good neighbour, you know.”
