Adam was intrigued by the messages on his phone. This morning he was woken up by a melody and a note appeared on the screen – 6:30am Monday, study pathology.
It was interesting seeing these pieces of the phone’s previous owner’s life.
Adam’s mother had given him the mobile last week, when he was in hospital.
‘Won’t someone miss it?’ he’d asked.
But she’d assured him it was his to keep.
Since then, he’d received a variety of reminders from the phone. Apart from instructions to study various medical subjects, there’d been a message to collect dry cleaning and a mention of an upcoming anniversary.
No need he thought.
