Drinking with the UNDEAD
At this time of year, it’s usually wonderful running a pub, seeing the regulars crowd in for a glass of their favourite tipple and some Christmas cheer! I’ve been running The Rose and Crown in Tewin, Hertfordshire, since August 2017, with the help of my wife Martine and our son Gabriel, who’s now 22.
But although the 17th century former coaching inn is picture-postcard pretty, from the moment we moved in, we sensed something decidedly weird about it.
