■ 23" x 26" monks cloth, linen, or burlap for rug foundation■ ¼ yard cream wool for background■ ⅛ yard of coordinating colors of wool for background mix and border■ ⅛ yard each of two■ 4" x 16" pink wool for tails and noses■ 2" x 16" dark pink for inside ears■ 6" x 16" peach wool for flowers■ 10" x 18" black wool for leaves, stems, eyes, and whiskers■ Black permanent marker■ Red dot tracing paper or tulle netting■ Tapestry needle and thread■ 2 ¼ yards binding tape■ Hook■ Hooking frame or hoop■ Wool cutter (optional)
