Outta Gas?

ECENT headline news indicates that the Marsden Point Oil Refinery in Northland will cease refining crude oil into petrol, jet fuel, diesel, and other products and convert it to a fuel distribution facility. That means NZ will rely solely on imported fuel which will arrive by ship at Marsden Wharf and be pumped to what’s left of the refinery and then down our single pipeline to Auckland and beyond. It sounds simple, but sources within the industry and close to NZHRM paint several alternate scenarios
