Q My 6-year-old eats too little, while his older sister cannot stop eating. Why? What can I do?

A In my experience children are naturally inclined to eat enough and well. Therefore, when a child seems off-balance, I suspect they are not having the foods that they actually need.

They have no way of knowing that they need something else, so they adapt to what you offer them.
