Mum’s message

Lounging around the pool, I was having the holiday of a lifetime.

It was June 2016, and my partner Stephen, then 29, and I, were in Crete.

We were having the best time, but I couldn’t shake this nauseous feeling.

I tried to ignore it, but every now and then it would send waves through my stomach.

I just put it down to too much hummus and pitta.

Only, when we arrived home, I still couldn’t shake it and my boobs were tender.
