Growing up, I was always interested in nutrition and health – even as a young child. I would spend a lot of time reading nutrition articles and spending my pocket money on health magazines. It was an interesting time growing up in the 1990s with so many well-known diet programs; we thought they represented ideal health at the time but they didn’t provide much balance or education on the nutritional element.
