You Just Need to Know Where to Look!

Nearly every year, for decades, I’ve attended the Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA) Hershey Region’s Eastern Fall national meet in Hershey, Pa. Last year, COVID-19 made it impossible, so like many enthusiasts, I moved my hotel reservations ahead to 2021 and made my annual pilgrimage to “Chocolate-town” in October for the world’s largest automotive swap meet.

Simply stated, the AACA, as an organization, and many of its members, do not approve of hot rods and custom cars. But that has never stopped serious hot rodders from participating. Over the years, enterprising guys such as Ron San Giovanni and the late Kirk F. White found ways to showcase historic hot rods in the racing car Class 24, and legally entered authentic rods with racing history in the giant Saturday morning
