To fight pandemic’s uncertainty, Germans embrace a testing culture

Max Diel wanted to go out to dinner, even with a pandemic rampant in Germany.

So the Berlin-based artist sauntered into one of the more than 15,000 free test centers that have popped up all over the country and got in line.
