For some men, it’s as simple as putting on deodorant or slapping on some aftershave and getting on with their day but for others, it’s a tedious and often daunting process to find that signature scent.
And it doesn’t help that while many fragrances can be whittled down to around 60 common notes, there are thousands to be found in perfumery. But help is at hand. There are ways in which to categorise them by using the Fragrance Wheel.
What is a Fragrance Wheel?
It is similar to the colour wheel we learnt about during art lessons at school – that circular diagram which showed which colours complemented each other and which ones clashed. A fragrance wheel works the same way.
